The ''Carson Valley Times'' (''CVT'') is an American daily online newspaper and group of journalistic publications, founded and published in Gardnerville, Nevada since July 1, 2013. It is one of three newspapers published in the Carson Valley along with the ''Record-Courier'' and the ''Sierra Scoop''. It is a member of the Nevada Press Association. The publication focuses on visual imagery, human interest stories and pieces on the inner-workings of area events and organizations. It covers the towns of Gardnerville, Nevada, Minden, Nevada and Genoa, Nevada as well as the surrounding Sierra Nevada (U.S.) region. Regular contributors include writers Scott Neuffer and Sheila Gardner and photographers Ron Harpin, Chris Dickerson, John T.
